      A IR SHOW ACT DESCRIPTIONS  

      Tension Builder – Prior to Ivans taxi:

      Tension is built by the Air Show announcer over the microphone by telling the crowd "These two pilots once met over southeast Asia many years ago.....so we need to keep them separated....we had trouble last night and we don't need any today!"

       

       

      Act One – RED STAR:

      Introducing “Ivan Petrovich” Russian Fighter pilot extraordinaire flying the hottest Jet Warbird on the circuit, the RED STAR VIPER – 29. The VIPER-29 recently set the Jet Course World Speed Record at Reno with a circuit speed of 545 Mph. With a thrust to weight ratio better than an A-10 Warthog, the VIPER-29 performs blistering vertical climbs in front of the crowd line. RED STAR’s performance combines graceful maneuvers with “Down on the deck" 500 MPH high speed passes. Red Star's red paint and beautiful Dueling Eagle paint job makes theViper-29 a very visible crowd favorite.

      Act Two – The DRAGON

      As Ivan performs The DRAGON positions himself on the active runway frustrating Ivan and causing him to leave the Air Show airspace in disgust! The dramatic music starts as The Dragon first pass starts, 500 Mph high speed diving pass, 6 “G” pull up and turn. The DRAGON never leaves show center as the announcer and Mike Edwards talk to the crowd explaining what is going on in the cockpit. The Dragon then set up for a “Photo Pass”.

      Act Three"The Dog Fight"

      In the middle of The Dragons “Photo Pass” Ivan returns to "show the Dragon how to fly". The shocked announcer tell both aircraft to land NOW. As THE DRAGON sets up to land RED STAR refuses and sets up for his revenge. With a strafing run (pyro if available) and guns blazing RED STAR dives in on his prey. But, RED STAR has miscalculated the nimbleness of The DRAGON and in an instant the tables are turned! THE FIGHT IS ON!! The crowd is on its feet as The DRAGON battles for its life. Come see who will win the day! After the combat is finished Red Star and The DRAGON returns for a Dedication Pass for our troops.

      Requirements for Aircraft, Pilot & Ground Crew
      Hotel:  Any aircraft: 2 Hotel rooms non-smoking.
           
      Transport:  Any aircraft: 1 car mid size or van.
      Ramp:  Any aircraft: Golf Cart where available.
      Security:
      Ramp security .
      Hangar during non-show hours/or inclement weather.
