A IR SHOW ACT DESCRIPTIONS
Act One – RED STAR VIPER-29: Introducing the hottest Jet Warbird on the circuit, the RED STAR VIPER – 29, Super Delphin. This is not your ordinary L-29, the VIPER-29 recently set the Jet Course World Speed Record at Reno with a circuit speed of 517 Mph. With a thrust to weight ratio better than an A-10 Warthog, the VIPER-29 performs blistering vertical climbs and “In front of the crowd line 6 “G” turns. RED STAR’s performance combines graceful Cuban 8’s, Point Rolls, Hesitation Rolls, with “Down on the deck" 500 MPH high speed passes, show passes and vertical repositioning turns. Smoke equipped and the blazing Red paint job makes the Viper-29 a very visible crowd favorite. Time Element: 6 minutes. Tension Builder – Prior to Dragon solo act: Andy Anderson, pilot of The Dragon has started an interview at the announcers stand at show center, one act prior to his solo flight. Ivan Protovski (Jerry Conley), pilot of the Red Star jet demands to be interviewed first and should not have to wait to be interviewed. A tension building moment is built by the Air Show announcer over the microphone as the announcer requests Ivan to step aside. Upset Ivan goes to his plane to leave the show (planned exit to stage) and leaves the area. (After take-off stages out of site for the Fight).
Act Two – The DRAGON
THE DRAGONS appearance from behind the crowd line is startling as it goes nearly vertical and turns to reposition. The dramatic music starts as his first pass starts, Snap rolls, 500 Mph high speed passes, 6 “G” turns, a slow speed pass that looks like THE DRAGON has stopped in mid air and a 360 degree minimum radius turn so tight THE DRAGON never leaves show center, are just some of the maneuvers performed
by THE DRAGON, and all of the maneuvers are done as the announcer and Andy talk to the crowd explaining what is going on in the cockpit. With a state of the art communications system the conversation from the Pilots seat is crystal clear. The audience will be on its feet from start to finish with THE DRAGON. Time Element: 4 minutes.
<Click to hear our show sound effects> Act Three – "The Dog Fight" As THE DRAGON sets up to land -RED STAR is back for his revenge. With a strafing run (pyro if available) and guns blazing RED STAR dives in on his prey. But, RED STAR has miscalculated the nimbleness of THE DRAGON and in an instant the tables are turned! THE FIGHT IS ON!! The crowd is on its feet as THE DRAGON battles for its life. Come see who will win the day! Time Element: 8 minutes.
